Ahh! One of the holy grails of dog ownwership.

Dawg has researched this and dug under every stone and come to the conclusion that:

If someone claims they have an anti-fart dog biscuit they probably sell snake oil too. There is no way of making a palatable and effective dog treat that does the job. Well no way that Dawg knows …yet.

However…there are a few things that you can do that help lessen those ‘methane moments’, to lessen dog flatulence, to say “Depart, dog fart”

First of all try and stop your dog gulping his/her food. You can do this by feeding smaller amounts of food, in 2 sessions, 10 minutes apart, or using one of the special bowls that prevent gulping.(link)
Second, especially for larger dogs, you can raise the bowl higher. This stops the dog bending down too far, and then taking gulps of air in, which come out the other end.
Third, you can give the dog a tablespoon of plain live yoghurt with each meal. This helps efficient digestion, which stops the gas build up.
